Clay Bodies opens this week
Thirty-one pieces from this year's intermediate and advanced wheel classes go up in the main gallery on Friday, shown alongside work by the two technicians who taught them.
We have hung it deliberately without separating the students from the staff. You are welcome to guess, and you will get it wrong more often than you expect.
Most of the work is for sale. The studio takes nothing — the whole price goes to the maker, which is unusual enough that people keep asking us to confirm it.
The gallery is free and open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, until 15 November. There is an artist talk on the 12th at 7pm about where clay comes from and what this valley does to a glaze.
