Thank you to the Saturday crew
Eleven people gave up a Saturday in September to clear, sort and repaint the storage room under the stairs. It had not been emptied since 2011.
What came out of it: four boxes of slides from exhibitions in the eighties, a complete set of letterpress furniture nobody knew we had, two chairs that have gone straight back into Studio 2, and a quantity of dried-out poster paint best not described.
The slides are now with the archive group, who are working through them for the fiftieth anniversary show. Several have names on the back that nobody here recognises. If you were around in 1983, we would like to hear from you.
The letterpress furniture is in use as of last Tuesday.
